I try not to be one of those fans, but last night's Community episode prompted me to find my inner Comic Book Guy and say, "Worst. Episode. Ever." That's probably a bit unfair and hyperbolic, but it's certainly true to say there's never been an episode of Community I enjoyed less than "G.I. Jeff."

The new broadcast TV season is underway. I checked out a couple of the new sitcoms on Fox: Brooklyn Nine-Nine, about which I'd heard many good things, and Dads, about which I'd heard none.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine was as pretty much as enjoyable as I'd been led to believe. Andre Braugher, playing Capt. Ray Holt, was great; who knew he could do comedy? ( Read more... )
